The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, inaugurated yesterday the royal camp that the Three Kings of the East have installed in the park of La Constitución, as a logistics operations center for the preparation of the thousands of gifts that will be distributed in all the homes of the Archipelago on the night of January 5.
“We are very grateful to Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar for once again choosing La Laguna as a place to share their enthusiasm with all the girls and boys of the Islands. We want this Camp to be a meeting point full of magic and with multiple activities for the whole family, and especially designed for the little ones to live these dates with enthusiasm”, said the mayor, who inaugurated the Royal Camp together with several members of the City hall and crowds of people waiting for the park gates to open.
The Royal Camp will be open until January 4, with two passes each day, at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., except on December 24 and 31, when it will only open in the morning, at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. It will only be closed on December 25 and New Year’s Day. Admission is free, but to guarantee capacity control it is necessary to withdraw the invitation in advance, through the entradasatualcance.com portal.
The Royal Camp has up to 18 points of interest, represented by stars. As special attractions, you can find a mechanical camel and a merry-go-round, as well as a magical mailbox, workshops, scalextrics, well-known characters and other activities. Also Santa Claus has his own space at Camp, where he will stay until Christmas Day, and then his elves.
On the other hand, the Area of Commerce and Economic Development presented yesterday the initiative There are stars, sun and moon, Christmas in La Laguna, a commercial revitalization campaign that will extend a broad program of activities to 20 locations in most towns and neighborhoods.
