The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) grants the Government of the Canary Islands a grant of five million euros to improve the access and exit between the Port of Los Cristianos and the Autopista del Sur (TF-1). The regional executive must draw up the project with this funding from the General State Budgetor the current year. The objective is to solve the circulatory chaos that Los Cristianos registers every day coinciding with the maritime traffic of passengers and goods with the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. The Mitma communication establishes that the actions to be carried out correspond to the conclusions of a study prepared for the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 2018.
