SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –
National Police agents have arrested two men in Adeje, natives of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, who, when they noticed the police presence at a vehicle checkpoint, tried to evade the operation by initiating maneuvers to get away from it.
National Police officials went to the scene when they noticed that one of the vehicles began to reverse several meters. The occupants, unable to continue in that direction due to the presence of another vehicle, threw a bag out of the passenger window.
As a result of the facts, one of the agents of the police operation intercepted the car until the arrival of the rest of the police components, who located the aforementioned bag in the vicinity and proceeded to the appropriate searches and searches.
A total of 1,515 euros in split bills and 326.47 grams of marijuana were seized. The detainees were made available to the Judicial Authority.
