SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The City Council of Los Llanos de Aridane, through the Councilor for Cemeteries, Mónica González, has confirmed that part of the Las Manchas cemetery will be opened tomorrow Tuesday, which was affected by the eruption of the La Palma volcano, more than one year.
Mónica González explained that specifically the entrance to the area of remains will be allowed, and the modules: R, S, P, O, T, U, W, X, Z, AA, AU, AV, AW, AX, AY and AZ .
In addition, he wanted to recall that already on November 1, families who had loved ones in part of these areas were allowed to branch out the niches, since the works and improvement tasks that were being carried out were advancing at a good pace and have already concluded.
The councilor pointed out that they continue to take steps to make the expansion of the municipal cemetery a reality as soon as possible, to which she added that it is a project that the government team was already contemplating and that has become “essential” after a large part of the cemetery was affected as a result of the eruption.
