SAN SEBASTIAN DE LA GOMERA, Dec. 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 52-year-old hiker was injured around 11:00 a.m. this Sunday when she suffered a fall on the Camino de El Cercado, within the municipality of Valle Gran Rey (La Gomera), according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112 .
The woman suffered moderate trauma to her lower limb, for which reason a GES helicopter traveled, which, in collaboration with firefighters from Valle Gran Rey, rescued the wounded person and evacuated her to the helipad in San Sebastián de La Gomera.
There, a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was waiting, which transferred the hiker to the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Hospital.
