SANTA ÚRSULA (TENERIFE), Dec. 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 78-year-old man died this Saturday after being hit by a car on the TF-5, in the municipality of Santa Úrsula, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112.
The event took place minutes before 5:18 p.m. at the exit of Santa Úrsula, towards La Laguna, where a medical ambulance and another sanitary ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) have been sent.
Upon arrival at the scene, SUC personnel reported that the affected person had injuries incompatible with life and confirmed his death. In addition, he has assisted the driver of the vehicle without it being necessary to transfer him to a health center.
The Civil Guard has regulated traffic in the area and has ordered the corresponding procedures, while the Insular Highway Center has taken charge of cleaning the road.
