Dozens of people have demonstrated again on Thursday afternoon against the change of name of the san sebastian avenue by CD Tenerife avenue, which took place last September, on the occasion of the Centenary of the blue and white entity.

The fact is that not all the residents agree with this ‘tribute’ to the club, which is why they demand, both from the mayor of the capital, José Manuel Bermúdez, and from the recently appointed president of CD Tenerife, Paulino Rivero, that San Sebastián avenue get your name back.

The change began to take shape a year ago, through the Association of Former Players of the Tenerife Sports Club, joining numerous fully representative entities in the sports, social, cultural, business and economic fields of the city. From the beginning, the aforementioned group of neighbors expressed their disagreement, something that they have reiterated this Thursday.
