Hotel reservations for the Christmas period in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz amount to 90 percent, standing above the figures for 2019according to a survey carried out by the local council.
The Councilor for Tourism, Carolina Rodríguez, has indicated in a statement that “these numbers reflect the good progress of the main porto economic sector in recent months and that endorses our commitment to renewal and positioning of Puerto de la Cruz as a living and experiential destination that attracts not only more people but also record investment.”
The local representative was present, during today, at the last assembly of the Association of Tourist Municipalities of Canary Islands (AMTC) of this year.
In this meeting, the details have also been finalized for the next International Tourism Fair, FITUR, which will take place in Madrid between January 18 and 23, 2023 and for which the AMTC will once again count on own stand.
“There we will be able to once again show the advantages of Puerto de la Cruz, a destination full of life, cultural experiences and a thriving hotel and restaurant sector in a unique environment”, Rodríguez pointed out.
