SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Social Policy Commission of the Canary Islands Federation (Fecai) has met this Friday at the Cabildo de Gran Canaria to propose and seek solutions to the need for the Ministry of Social Rights of the Government of the Canary Islands to transfer them “as soon as possible ” Information on the status of the Dependency Agreement and the Infrastructure Plan.
The president of the Commission, Adargoma Hernández, explained that the councils have considered it necessary to hold this meeting to discuss the future of these two agreements that are so necessary, on the one hand, for the execution of the works that are incorporated in the Infrastructure Plan and , on the other, for the management of the resources of the services contemplated in the Dependency Agreement, which must be signed before December 31.
The also Minister of Social Policies of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura has added that last October they requested an urgent meeting with the Ministry of Social Rights of the Government of the Canary Islands to address the increase in the price-place, due to the fact that the third sector and companies Management companies are suffering from the increase in prices as a result of inflation that is affecting all sectors, but they have not received any response from the regional government.
Due to this, today they have agreed to transfer their concern to the Fecai de Presidentes so that at their next meeting, which they are going to hold next Monday, they raise it as a matter of urgency and request a meeting with the President of the Government of the Canary Islands to carry out an assessment of the situation in which both agreements find themselves.
