What will the weather be like this Friday in the Canary Islands in the final stretch of the ‘bridge’ in December?

The Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) announces for this Friday in Canary Islands cloudy intervals in general and possible rainswhich could be locally strong in The Palmmaximum temperatures unchanged or slightly rising, and a light to moderate west wind with breezes on the coasts.

In central peaks of Tenerifethe wind will be from the strong west that will decrease to moderate throughout the day.

Regarding the state of the sea, there will be a wind from the west and southwest of force 4 or 5 and swell or locally strong swell offshore and variable of force 1 to 3 with rippled or swell. Northwest swell is expected with waves of 2 to 3 meters, showers and occasional regular visibility.

The weather forecast by islands is as follows:

LANZAROTE

Cloudy intervals with abundant high clouds. Some occasional and scattered precipitation is not ruled out. Little changed temperatures. Light to moderate southwest wind, somewhat more intense during the second half of the day.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Fuerteventura

Cloudy intervals with abundant high clouds. Some occasional and scattered precipitation is not ruled out. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease, more pronounced on the eastern slope; maximum without changes or in slight ascent. Light to moderate southwest wind, somewhat more intense during the second half of the day.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Puerto del Rosario 18 25

GRAND CANARY

Cloudy intervals with abundant high clouds. Chance of occasional rainfall in the west and south, will be less likely and dispersed in the rest. Temperatures with few changes, with slight increases in the maximum in high areas. Light to moderate southwest wind, more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes, as well as on summits. Breezes on northeast and southwest coasts.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 20 24

TENERIFE

Cloudy intervals with abundant high clouds. Rainfall probability, especially on the western slope where it may be more frequent and intense. An occasional shower on the eastern slope in the afternoon is not ruled out. Minimum temperatures with little change; highs with few changes or slightly rising, more pronounced on the north slope. Light to moderate wind from the west component, with strong intervals in the southeast in the afternoon, and with breezes on the east and north coasts. In central summits, strong west that will decrease to moderate throughout the day, without ruling out some punctually very strong gusts in the early hours.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 20 25

LA GOMERA

Cloudy intervals with abundant high clouds. Probability of precipitation, especially on the western slope where it may be more frequent. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures slightly rising, especially on the northwest slope. Loose southwest wind, somewhat more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes. Breezes on the northeast coast.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

San Sebastian de la Gomera 19 25

THE PALM

Predominance of cloudy skies, especially on the north and west slopes. Probability of rainfall that may be persistent, especially on the west slope, and without ruling out that they are locally strong. They could be accompanied by an isolated storm, especially during the second half of the day. Temperatures with few changes or slightly rising, especially the maximum in high areas. Light to moderate southwest wind, more intense in extreme southeast and northwest. Breezes on the east coast.

Santa Cruz de la Palma 20 25

THE IRON

Predominance of cloudy skies. Probability of precipitation, mainly to the west, where it may be more frequent. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures slightly rising. Southwest wind, somewhat more intense in the extreme southeast and west.
