The Santiago del Teide City Council is currently paying the approved subsidies intended to support the start-up and start of the activity of those business projects created as of July 28, 2021 and whose subsidized investment expenses have been made in the period between January 1 and August 2 of this year.
Through these subsidies, for which the council has allocated €45,000, it is intended to promote the generation of economic activity in the municipality, trying to encourage the generation of new business activities that respond to the needs of society and that allow them to compete in the local productive fabric.
These subsidies granted by the city council are up to a maximum of €3,000.00 with a ceiling of 50% of the eligible investment (minimum investment €2,000.00), in accordance with the provisions of the bases thereof.
Natural or legal persons as well as property communities that have started an economic activity during the period established in each selective process could attend this call; that their location, as well as their fiscal and social domicile, is in the municipality of Santiago del Teide and that they have made an initial investment for an amount equal to or greater than two thousand euros, which must be justified at the time of the application and that It deals with micro-enterprises that employ a staff of less than 10 workers and that the turnover or assets do not exceed 2 million euros, among other requirements.
