The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands continues without registering new confirmed cases of monkeypox and notifies one under study. Therefore, Since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 177 confirmed cases, of which 104 were detected in Gran Canaria, 66 in Tenerife, four in Fuerteventura, two in Lanzarote and one in La Palma.
All active cases are having mild symptoms. Thus, the confirmed and notified cases in the Canary Islands from the beginning of the alert and up to today are as follows:

– A suspicious case, pending confirmation, notified in Tenerife.
The protocol of the Ministry of Health classifies cases between probable and suspicious depending on whether the patient meets clinical criteria and epidemiological criteria (probable cases) or if he only presents clinical criteria and in such a case is considered a suspected case.
