The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has detected at 10:29 this Sunday a earthquake between the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with magnitude 2.5 mbLg and located 6 kilometers deep.
As exposed by the IGN in the list of last earthquakes registered in Spain, On yesterday Saturday, three other seismic movements were located in the same area of the ocean between the two islands.with magnitudes of 1.6, 1.7, and 2.0 mbLg, and at a depth of 21, 4, and 10 kilometers, respectively.
Also last Friday there was an earthquake of 2.3 magnitude mbLg at a depth of 19 kilometers in Arico, south of Tenerife, and on the same day another seismic movement of 0.7 magnitude was located in Adeje, 3 kilometers away.
That day an earthquake was also located in the same region of the Atlantic between Gran Canaria and Tenerife of magnitude 1.6 and located 8 kilometers away.
For its part, on December 1, the IGN verified three seismic movements in the Tenerife municipalities of Icod de los Vinos, with a magnitude of 0.8 at 10 kilometers; Vilaflor, 1.2 and 11 kilometers away; and La Guancha, 1.1 mbLg in magnitude and 14 kilometers away.
