SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Gustavo Matos, delivered today to the Spanish Red Cross the donation made by the Legislative Chamber on the occasion of the celebration of the traditional Day of the Little Flag.

The president approached the petition table installed at the doors of the Cabildo de Tenerife, where he greeted the regional vice president and provincial president of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the Red Cross, Mayte Pociello, as well as the staff who were carrying out the collection on Tuesday of donations.

Matos pointed out that “we must remember that during this legislature the collaboration of the Parliament of the Canary Islands with the Red Cross has been continuous; we made a donation during the COVID crisis and also in favor of the people affected by the La Palma volcano”.

The president called for participation and solidarity in this day dedicated to hospitalized children.
