Fans from Wales and England watch together and calmly, at the Hernández Brewery, in Costa Adeje, the match between their teams in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. A picture that has little to do with the videos of the crowd fight who starred hooligans from both countries last weekend in the neighboring municipality of Arona, specifically in Las Verónicas, the leisure area of Playa de Las Américas.

Those images went around the world through the media and social networks, and for this reason the National Police has established a special security device before the celebration of England-Wales which, on the other hand, has caused the massive arrival of fans from both countries, exceeding 2,500 people.

Said device has been established hours before the match and will be maintained until hours after, and will be attended by regular units such as patrol vehicles and others specialized in maintaining public order, such as the Prevention and Reaction Unit of the South Police Station. of Tenerife and the Police Intervention Unit of the Provincial Police Station of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Safety tips for large crowds of people for England-Wales from today

Taking advantage of the occasion, the National Police would like to remind you of a series of safety tips for large events:

-Avoid crowds during the hours in which the game will be held.

-Do not park near the areas with the greatest presence of people to reduce the risk of material damage to the vehicles.

-Try to carry essential personal belongings and not withdraw money in the vicinity of areas with a large influx of people.

-When traveling down the street, stay away from dark and lonely areas.

-When finished, leave in a staggered manner so that a large number of people do not gather on the street.

-If you observe any altercation or in the event of any problem, get away from it and notify the National Police.
