The mayor of Arona, Jose Julian Menastressed the importance of this service, which “shows, once again, the need we have to have a public hospital of the highest level in El Mojón that provides comprehensive care to the residents of the South, for whom it is enormously hard having to travel to the metropolitan area”.
The Councilor for Social Services, Ruth Lorenzo, explained that this service “is essential for the families of Arona, especially to save financial resources and be able to travel daily to hospitals, which is, in itself, enormously annoying for many of the patients To this we must add the support it provides for their relatives, who have difficulties making these daily transfers”
