Cristina Valido is emerging as the CC candidate for Mayor in 2023

The regional deputy of Canarian Coalition Cristina Valido is emerging as the nationalist candidate for mayor of the municipality of El Rosario for the May 2023 elections. According to the sources consulted by this newspaper, Valido will be, except for a last-minute surprise, the one chosen to head the municipal list of CC in the Rosariero municipality, waiting to be ratified by the local committee of the municipality.

Valido stated that «In El Rosario, today, I am one more neighbor who is part of the local Canary Islands Coalition team. I will work with them and they will decide, I will do what they and the neighbors ask me to do. I will be wherever they want at the municipal level.

In this sense, he stressed that “in this municipality we are forming a new team, with key people of enormous loyalty, to which residents of the town, the midlands and the coast are joining. The fatigue towards the forms that have been installed in the Mayor’s Office has not only permeated the ruling team with important and surprising resignations, but it is also on the street.

For Valido, “it is surprising that in the 21st century people tell you to count on them, but that you don’t know, because they are afraid. I find it amazing. Nobody should be afraid of a mayor or woman mayor, neither here nor anywhere, and when that happens you have to put an end to it », he reflects.

The nationalist deputy assured that “We are not going to carry out a smear campaign against the government team. The priority now is to defend solutions to the problems of the residents of our municipality, that they see that there is another way of doing things and that it is time for them to lead them.

In an analysis of the current situation, Cristina Valido explained that “El Rosario does not have a General Planning Plan, it has to be built and we have to do it together with all of us with the active participation of all the neighborhoods. We are already committed to that and we have territorial planning specialists on the team. The future of the municipality and the resolution of historical problems depend on this General Plan, such as the best connection and mobility between our coast, the town and our forest; social cohesion and unity that will make us stronger and more aware of the privilege of living in El Rosario with everything it offers us, from its difference and diversity, traditional and cosmopolitan”.

Valido advanced that “we will knock on many doors to add enthusiasm, ideas and opinions. We will dedicate our time to that and we ask the people of this municipality to participate freely and without fear. Because we firmly believe that the luck of living here can be much more ».
