SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 45-year-old man has been moderately injured after suffering a fall on a road to Santiago del Teide, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The events occurred this Wednesday afternoon on the Camino de Tamaimo in the aforementioned municipality, the place where the rescue helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group of the Government of the Canary Islands (GES) moved, which located and rescued the wounded man.
He was then transferred to the Adeje helideck where a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was waiting for him. The staff verified that the injured man had a moderate head injury, for which he was transferred by basic life support ambulance. to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
Members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium also participated in the incident, setting up the helideck for the helicopter to land.
