Santa Cruz de Tenerife gives the first step to receive Christmasthrough the special lighting that will shine in the five districts of the municipality, and that will be lit on Thursday, the 24th, at 6:30 p.m.
The bandstand in the Plaza del Príncipe will be transformed into a magic box where, thanks to illusion, music and choreography, an emotional story between a father and his daughter will unfold, basted by the Timaginas Teatro company.
The event, which will include the lighting of the municipal lighting by the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, will include the participation of the Canarian singer and winner of Operación Triunfo in its 2020 edition, Nia Correiain addition to the Choir of White Voices of the Autonomous Organization of Culture and the Loli Pérez Ballet.

On this occasion, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council will make a total investment of 780,000 euros to install a total of 1,228 motifs and arches, 51,830 meters of garlands and 59 floor elements that will remain operational until January 6.
The lighting act is part of a festive municipal agenda that includes more than 65 events for all audiences that combine tradition, culture, leisure, commerce and gastronomy; and that will last until January 5 with the reception of SSMM Los Reyes Magos de Oriente at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium and the subsequent parade through the streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
