The Fairgrounds will host a new edition of ‘Exposaldo’ from tomorrow Wednesday until next Sunday, which will feature about 80 companies and 150 exhibitors to promote sales and stimulate local consumption through offers, opportunities and discounts.
Organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, this commercial event is now in its twenty-fifth edition and is sponsored by Cajasiete, and will be held maintaining the traditional format of previous editions, with different exhibition areas, according to the type of brands and products, and the entrance will have a symbolic price of 1 euro.
In total, more than 10,000 square meters of sample brands of textiles, accessories, footwear, household appliances, hardware, furniture, household items, decoration, toys, motorcycles and used vehicles, among other products.
The counselor Carmen Luz Baso stressed that ‘Exposaldo’ is “one of the most anticipated commercial events of the year, which has established itself as a benchmark in the Canary Islands in the sale of well-known brands at affordable prices.” She added that its celebration “represents an opportunity for the participating merchants to sell the goods they have in stock in their stores and to start the Christmas campaign with an additional economic boost.”
The counselor explained that this action is part of the commercial revitalization strategy that the Cabildo is working on to stimulate sales and help small and medium-sized businesses throughout the island territory.
“Last year there were 35,000 visitors, and everything indicates that this year we will also have a notable influx of public, so we hope that the businesses see their forecasts covered,” said the island manager, while highlighting “the involvement and efforts of the firms so that the fair meets the expectations of the population, as has been done in previous calls”.
