Canarian Coalition of Tacoronte held this Sunday, November 13, an extraordinary assembly in which it unanimously proclaimed the current local general secretary, Noemi Garcia Martinas CC’s candidate for Mayor of Tacoronte face to the next municipal elections to be held in May 2023. He will replace the former mayor Alvaro Davila at the head of the nationalist cartel The assembly agreed by acclamation the candidacy of the current local general secretary of the nationalists and former councilor in the northern City Council in 2019.
“I am very happy for the acclamation as a candidate by the local committee and the assembly, and more for doing it in difficult times like the ones we are experiencing; and also for the affection that all my colleagues have shown me”, he highlighted. Naomi Garcia assumes the candidacy “with all the enthusiasm and responsibility of a committed tacorontera that seeks to improve the day to day of my neighbors, betting on a Tacoronte of the future, participatory and where we all have the same opportunities.” Among its objectives, “improve citizen care, promote cultural diversity, promote sports by making use of the wealth we have in the municipality; protect our heritage, address insecurity problems from a new perspective”.

The CC spokesman in the City Council and former mayor, Alvaro Davilahighlighted that Noemí “is a brave, young woman, prepared and with enough conviction to lead and govern Tacoronte from May 2023.”
The nationalist candidate also stressed that one of her main tasks will be to “listen to the feelings and opinions of our neighbors, neighborhood by neighborhood and street by street in relation to social affairs, citizen security, cleanliness, services, health and many other topics in order to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality.
