SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The facade of the Parliament of the Canary Islands lights up blue these days to commemorate World Diabetes Day on November 14.
The president of the Chamber, Gustavo Matos, wanted to recall the need to continue working on prevention and awareness in the Canary Islands, one of the regions of Spain and Europe with the highest prevalence of this disease.
Likewise, he sent a message of support to all the people who suffer from diabetes in the Archipelago and to their families, highlighting the important role played by the associations that work in this field, for their necessary work and for their efforts to improve the quality of life.
