The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife advances in initiatives to promote restaurant services in its facilities, thus increasing, on the one hand, the number of businesses dedicated to this activity and, on the other, the services it provides to its users and port companies.
More specifically, the Board of Directors of the The Tenerife Port Authority has just agreed to call the tender for the operation of the cafeteria bar located in the fish market building. Call to which anyone who meets the established conditions may apply. Another request, with the same purpose, has already been granted in the enclave that years ago housed the well-known La Dársena Restaurant.

The future bar of the fish market in Santa Cruz de Tenerife It will provide a service intrinsically linked to the users of the port, particularly to the workers who carry out their work activity in the aforementioned building and its surroundings.
The specifications that will govern this contest –and agreed by the Board of Directors during the meeting held last Wednesday, November 2– establish an initial period of exploitation of five years. During this five-year period, the successful bidder will manage a facility that has a total area of 207.66 square meters.
With permission to open the business 365 days a year, it must initially offer a daily schedule, at most, from five in the morning to four-thirty in the afternoon, although it could be modified according to the needs and traffic of the port.
Project of the works
Those interested in this call must present a basic project in the competition phase in which they will have to specify the works they want to carry out, a project that will have to be approved by the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The document will serve as the basis for the possible granting of the concession. To prepare it, they will have the possibility of visiting the facility whose exploitation is the object of the tender to gather all the necessary information for the preparation of the proposal.
