SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
La Gomera participates this weekend in the ‘Photo & Adventure’ fair in Vienna, the reference commercial tourism event for adventure tourism. The island attends this event, which brings together thousands of people interested in the fields of photography, travel, outdoor activities, film and video.
The island’s Minister of Tourism, María Isabel Méndez, pointed out the opportunity that this event represents “to promote the natural and landscape values of the island, which represent a powerful attraction for photographers, videographers and film and television producers.”
Likewise, Méndez highlighted the unique characteristics of La Gomera for the practice of outdoor activities, “because we have a network of trails that covers more than 600 kilometers, a circuit of tracks for the practice of bicycle tourism, and spectacular sea beds that they are an attraction for whale watching and diving”.
Tourism of La Gomera attends this event under the umbrella of Turismo Islas Canarias, with its own counter equipped with an interactive screen, equipped with the Infor La Gomera tourist information application and the website hosted on the Holaislascanarias platform, so that only the minimum of paper-based material possible, thus minimizing the carbon footprint generated.

Photo+Adventure is a trade fair with around 170 exhibitors and brands that brings together the professional and general community interested in photography, travel, outdoor activities, film and video in the same space. This year it will be held at the Pyramide & Congress Center in Vienna, with conferences, seminars, photographic exhibitions, and workshops.
