SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Four people have been injured of varying degrees, one of them seriously, in a traffic accident that occurred last night on the northern highway (TF-5), as it passed through the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla, as reported by the Center Emergency and Security Coordinator (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 10:45 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that there had been a frontal collision of two vehicles on the aforementioned road, for which the Cecoes immediately activated emergency resources needed to intervene in the area.
Once at the scene, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assessed and assisted a total of six people, although only four of them, with injuries of varying degrees, needed to be transferred to different hospitals.
Those affected were a 29-year-old girl, who at the initial moment of assistance presented a serious abdominal trauma; another 28-year-old woman, who suffered moderate trauma to her wrist; a 29-year-old man, with moderate polycontusions, and another 29-year-old man, who suffered a moderate head injury.
