SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A man, of whom no further information is known, was seriously injured last morning when he fell into the Santos ravine, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The event occurred around 6:40 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting that a person had fallen into the ravine from a wall about 5 meters high and required medical assistance.

Members of the Firefighters Consortium, a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Local Police, National Police and Civil Protection traveled to the scene.
Services activated by the CECOES 1-1-2:

The firefighters rescued the affected person and evacuated him to the place where the SUC ambulance staff was located, who proceeded to assist him and transfer him to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital due to a serious head injury.

Civil Protection collaborated with the resources displaced to the scene of the incident.
Police officers activated by the Coordination Center intervened together with the rest of the emergency services and made the appropriate reports.
