SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Association of Journalists of Tenerife (APT) will celebrate next Monday a triple act: an ordinary assembly, the official inauguration of the new social premises and the delivery of the ‘Patricio Estévanez’ prize to the associate Jorge Bethencourt González.

In the agenda of the meeting, in addition to a report from the presidency, another one related to the economic situation of the entity is included, as well as the proposal to modify the membership fees.

At 7:00 p.m., the official inauguration of the APT’s social premises, located at Calle San Francisco, 68-70, in the capital of Tenerife, is scheduled to begin. A photographic exhibition of the author Carlos González will be open. The event will be attended by the president of the Federation of Associations of Journalists of Spain (FAPE), Miguel Noceda.

The award ceremony for the ‘Patricio Estévanez’ award (2021) will then begin, instituted by the APT to recognize, among the associates, an outstanding professional career. On this occasion, the award went to the journalist from Tenerife, Jorge Bethencourt González.
