Councilor for Public Services City Hall of Santa CruzCarlos Tarife, confirmed yesterday that Emmasa will present allegations to the decision of the Price Commission of the Government of the Canary Islands of not admitting a 7.9% rise in rates, recommending that this be, in any case, 2.5%.
“I know that Emmasa is going to present allegations and then it will be the councilor of the area who has the last word on the matter,” said the mayor of Public Services.
Carlos Tarife defended that “they have already proved us right in the need to raise the rates to economically rebalance the company. Now what is being discussed is the percentage in which it is going to be done. That is something that the counselor decides, I insist.
