SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police has arrested four young people between the ages of 19 and 23, with a record for acts of similar characteristics, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation in a supermarket in La Laguna.
At the beginning of October, the investigators of the National Police learned, thanks to one of the workers of the establishment, of a robbery committed in said supermarket.
An individual, wielding a firearm, had intimidated the workers to seize the proceeds from the establishment’s cash register. Once he had seized around 700 euros, he left the supermarket on the run, losing himself in the vicinity.
The National Police investigators immediately went to the scene of the robbery to carry out the first steps, listen to the witnesses and victims, and view the images that would allow the alleged perpetrators of the violent robbery to be identified.
In this way, once the investigations were carried out, the agents identified four young people who, presumably, would have committed the robbery by prior arrangement for it.
In a specific device of the National Police, two of the twentysomethings were arrested in the municipality of Aguere. In particular, the one who had allegedly carried out the act and the young man who had provided him with the simulated firearm to carry it out were arrested.
After these first two arrests, the investigators continued the search for the other two twentysomethings involved in the events, who were finally arrested days after the previous ones in the same municipality.
The detainees, young people with criminal records of a violent nature, were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, which decreed their entry into prison.
