SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Governing Council of the Cabildo de Tenerife has approved the contribution of one million euros to the Santa Cruz City Council for the execution of rehabilitation works on 381 social homes in the Añaza neighborhood of the capital.
According to the Island Corporation, it is an initiative that will be jointly financed by several public administrations and the owners of the properties.
The works are included in the Programmed Rehabilitation Residential Environment improvement program (ERRP) planned for Añaza.
The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda will contribute, with European funds, 10,287,162 euros; the Cabildo de Tenerife will contribute this year with an item of one million euros; The Santa Cruz City Council will do so with 1,408,301 euros, to be financed in three annual installments (2023-2025); and the owners and owners will contribute 523,875 euros.
In this regard, the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín, stressed that “from the Cabildo we fulfill the commitment to support and cooperate with all the municipalities of the island, on this occasion, in such an important matter as the rehabilitation of homes and the improvement of the quality of life of the people who live in them”.
“In the Governing Council, we have approved the agreement to be signed with the Santa Cruz City Council that will allow the direct transfer of one million euros from the Cabildo de Tenerife to this project,” he added.
