Alcampo opened the first online shopping collection point in Los Cristianos. From Monday to Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., customers can pick up their orders placed through the website, opting for an assortment of 50,000 references. This new collection point has 12 parking spaces and incorporates a convenience store, with an assortment of more than 1,500 items such as soft drinks, wine, ready meals or snacks, which complement the purchase. The establishment has a touch screen to make the purchase online.
Ramón Pérez Andión, director of the Laguna, indicates that «the new Alcampo.es point complements the collection service in the south of Tenerife, where we already have 24-hour lockers in Las Chafiras. Without a doubt, we are taking another step forward in our commitment to taking Alcampo to every corner of the Island».
Alcampo, which has just turned 30 in the Canary Islands, invested 22 million euros to reform its three hypermarkets (La Laguna and La Orotava, in Tenerife, and Telde, in Gran Canaria) and create more experiential, sustainable spaces focused on highlighting the fresh market product. In addition to the work carried out in its hypermarkets, the company has expanded its online shopping delivery service within the framework of the digital proximity project, being able to reach La Gomera and practically every corner of Gran Canaria and Tenerife with delivery and collection solutions.
