Some take advantage of the anonymity that the Internet allows to try to do harm, they hide behind it to insult, criticize without meaning or seek controversy. And on the other hand, there are those with such thin skin that they do not assume nor the criticisms written with the aim of making the other improve.
In a restaurant located in the south of Tenerife we find one of these two cases just mentioned, or both. That is up to the reader, or to those who have also experienced a dinner at the local Tenerife.
“The ham croquettes don’t taste like anything. The octopus is oily and the tortilla chips are all reheated. The prawns with avocado are fatal, etc. The only decent thing was the Andalusian squid”comment a tourist from Madrid on Tripadvisor.
The owner of the establishment did not hesitate to respond. “We wanted to congratulate him on his falsehood towards us and the courage to smile at us during dinner, telling us that everything was fine. Then you came out and immediately put a star on it”. So of course she had it.
“The question that arises for me is: who sent them? You ordered our ‘best sellers’ or the most popular dishes (octopus, croquettes, prawns and squid) and, as you can see from all the positive reviews, they are the dishes that people like them the most.”
The owner himself made a ‘suggestion’ to the user who wrote the review. “Next time, try to order and review different dishes so this review doesn’t come across as fake. Greetings from all the staff who thank you again for the falsehood. You won first prize!”.
Other reviews
Though the vast majority of reviews about this restaurant are quite positiveWe found some other criticism of the local food. “We ordered ham and cheese with honey, the ham was clearly the kind of package that they sell for one euro in any supermarket.”
“We ordered octopus croquettes and they had about one and a half batters, they tasted a lot like flour, we asked for bread with anchovies and instead of anchovies they had anchovies with vinegar.”
Everyone will never like what you dothat is clear, nor can your objective be that this happens.
