Taganana recovers the tradition that the altar boys of the church of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves carried out in the past. The objective of the children is to raise money to use for the purchase of sweets as compensation for the commitment they assume with the residents of Taganana to fulfill the tradition that marked the 1st and 2nd of November.
Currently, the children are in charge of tolling the bells of the church of Our Lady of the Snows from noon today, November 1 and All Saints’ Day, until midnight, a custom with which the residents of Taganana They remembered their deceased with this particular prayer that they entrusted to the altar boys.
Luján González specifies that this custom has been recovered years ago after some dates in which the tradition was about to be lost.
