The island councilor for Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, explained that “with this new campaign we want to encourage consumption in small businesses in Tenerife, but also collaborate with families at a time when inflation is affecting to household economies. For this we have put on the market bonds worth 600,000 euros with direct discounts of up to 60 euros for people who acquire them”. More than 300 establishments have joined this campaign, whose membership period is still active.
In accordance with the rules of use, each consumer will be able to use a maximum of two vouchers in each purchase, regardless of their value, so it will be possible to obtain discounts of up to 60 euros in a single purchase. The business will receive 50% of the value of the redeemed vouchers within a maximum period of two weeks, from the date of purchase.
The term to acquire the bonds and exchange them in the establishments adhering to the program will be open until November 30, unless the budget is exhausted beforehand.
Through this initiative, vouchers with a total value of 600,000 euros will be placed on the market, which will go directly to shops, cafeterias, restaurants and service-providing businesses. Bonds with amounts of 10, 30 and 60 euros have been put up for sale in which the Cabildo de Tenerife pays 50%, while the other half must be paid by the consumer.
