The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government no new confirmed cases of monkeypox since Tuesday and reports a case under investigation.
Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there have been 176 confirmed cases, of which 103 were detected in Gran Canaria, 66 in Tenerife, four in Fuerteventura, two in Lanzarote and one in La Palma.
All cases of monkey pox in the active islands they are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation receiving follow-up by Primary Care.
Thus, the confirmed and notified cases in the Canary Islands from the beginning of the alert and until today they are as follows:

The protocol of the Ministry of Health classifies cases between probable and suspected depending on whether the patient meets clinical criteria and epidemiological criteria (probable cases) or if it only presents clinical criteria and in this case it is considered a suspected case.
