The sixth and last gala of ‘Blind auditions’ of ‘The Voice’ allowed coaches to complete their teams. Each singer now has a team made up of 14 applicants who will fight from next week to become the best voice in Spain.
This last gala has had a Canarian accent with the participation of Sonia Gila 32-year-old artist from Tenerife.
The singer has stomped up the stage of the Antena 3 program. Her performance has made everyone in the audience of ‘La Voz’ wake up with a powerful version of the song ‘Simply the best’ by Tina Turner.
With only one place in each team, Antonio Orozco has been the coach who has pressed his button at the last moment to close his team with the torrent of Tenerife in the Blind Auditions.
sonia sHe suffered discrimination in the Canary Islands orchestras because of his physical appearance, misaligned with respect to the canons sought in these environments, so as he commented in his presentation “he wants to participate in ‘The Voice’ so that only his talent is judged, regardless of the rest”. One of his dreams: to succeed singing not only in the Canary Islands but also on the Peninsula.

Next week a new phase of the program will enter, ‘The great battle’. In this stage, half of the contestants will be eliminated and for this, the coaches will have the help of their advisors. Vanesa Martín will be in charge of helping Laura Pausini, Lola Índigo will lend a hand to Luis Fonsi, Raphael will make his debut as adviser to Pablo López and Mala Rodríguez will sit next to Antonio Orozco.
