The mayor of Los Relejos, Adolfo González, underlined “the important commitment” of his Government for municipal public services, a commitment that will be materialized in next year’s budget of the two public services and water companies, Realserv and Aquare, respectively .
In the first case, the increase is 10.98% and will include 6,066,397.91 euros for the collection of solid waste, maintenance of parks and gardens, cleaning of streets and public spaces, municipal support for works and maintenance, and the sports services, beaches and cemeteries.
In the second, it amounts to 13.12%, and will manage an investment of 3,128,343 euros for the supply and supply of water, the sewage network and the services of the integral water cycle that are municipal competence.
“A few historical figures”, according to the mayor, which will serve to improve the provision, “but in no case will it affect the pockets of the neighbors”, the president clarified during a press conference that served to take stock of management and review the most important projects they carry out.
González was accompanied by the delegate mayor of both companies, Domingo García; his manager, Ricardo Ramírez; those in charge of the different services, and the Councilor for the Treasury, Darío Pérez. The latter highlighted all the actions carried out by Realserv and Aquare, and especially referred to the campaign to detect and repair water leaks, which has allowed for a hydraulic use of 80%, against the initial 50%.
However, both Pérez and González placed special emphasis on the importance of the human capital of both companies, made up of a total of 152 workers -130 from Realserv and 22 from Aquare- as a stable workforce, which increases in specific periods, said the mayor. of Treasury.
