Calvario Street, in La Esperanza, will be renovated. It is the main road in the area, it supports a significant volume of traffic and most of the vehicles that go to the Town Hall area, the square and the shops located in the vicinity circulate along it. Specifically, the action will consist of a general reform, as specified by the El Rosario City Council.
From the Rosariero Consistory they explained that last August the municipal plenary approved a budget modification amounting to 900,000 euros, which is mainly aimed at paying for the agreements with the Canarian Federation of Municipalities (Fecam) and the Canarian Service of Employment (SCE) of the next social employment plans and also to the financing of the aforementioned road work in La Esperanza.
«El Calvario street is going to benefit from a total renovation, completely transforming its water supply network and improving accessibility and all equipment, lighting and furniture», pointed out the mayor, Escolástico Gil. “With this action we intend to enhance the main street at the entrance to the Villa de La Esperanza with a general beautification work that will give great added value to this area,” added the leader of the Initiative for El Rosario-Greens (IR-Greens). .
This joins the II Municipal Asphalting Plan of El Rosario, which is currently being executed in 30 streets. Awarded for 1,066,876 euros to the company Constructora de Proyectos y Obra Civil de 2012 Sociedad Limitada, the actions began in the streets of La Jurnia and San Diego (Barranco Hondo), Porcuna (Llano del Moro) and Preventorio (Las Rosas), where, with the new road signs that were implemented, the number of car parks has gone from 12 to 31.
“In those streets that need it, a series of complementary actions have been included to those of rehabilitation, which improve the conditions of drainage and road safety, such as the renovation of the drainage gratings and the replacement of the old galvanized biondas by barriers. of metal-wood”, they indicated at the beginning of the works.
