The spokesman for Canarian Coalition (CC) at the Tegueste Town Hall, Juan Norberto (Berty) Padilla, will be the nationalist candidate for mayor of Teguester in 2023 after the local committee of the Village recently elected him during an extraordinary assembly.

After his appointment, the presentation of Berty Padilla’s candidacy took place a few days ago in an act at the El Socorro Cultural Center before more than 100 people, where he was attended by the Island Secretary General of CC de Tenerife, Francisco Linares; the nationalist candidate for the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila; the spokesperson for the Canarian Coalition in the nationalist group of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Carlos Alonso, and the CC candidate for Mayor of La Laguna, Jonathan Domínguez.

Likewise, the island councilors Carmen Delia Alberto and Blanca Pérez were there; the mayor of El Sauzal, Mariano Pérez; the councilors of the City Council of La Laguna Fran Hernández, Patricia Negrón and Estefanía Díaz; the general secretary of the Young Nationalists of Tenerife, Serafín Mesa, and the former mayor of Tegueste, Vidal Suárez.

During his presentation as a candidate for Mayor of Tegueste, Berty Padilla assured that “there have been three and a half years of serious and constant work, making a responsible opposition, with proactive initiatives and proposals that have been transferred to the municipal plenary session, and above all , close to the neighborhood and to the groups of the municipality”, they indicated from the formation in a note.
