The National Police has arrested a 36-year-old man from Arico, Tenerife, as the perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault with penetration of a 22-year-old German woman who had requested the services of a taxi to return home in the who stayed overnight after going out at night.

Thanks to the recordings of the local cameras, the data provided by the taxi company and the victim’s statement, which fit with the data that was being discovered, the Police were able to identify the author and proceed to arrest him for a crime of sexual assault.
The detainee, who had several police records for ill-treatment but not of a sexual nature, was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
