The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, has launched a free training platform to help small and medium-sized businesses on the Island to acquire new skills and knowledge with which to improve their competitiveness and Increase your sales, taking advantage of the online market.
Under the name ‘Activation of Tenerife’s trade’, the new platform, which is managed by the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), includes a total of 18 courses divided into two thematic blocks: visual marketing and digital masterclasses, and modernization and improvement of sales techniques.
As explained by the Minister of the Area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, “the objective is to help commercial and restaurant establishments, especially those with fewer resources, to update their businesses and adapt them to the new demands of consumers, who increasingly use the Internet as a channel to search for and purchase products and services”.
Carmen Luz Baso added that the training offer contemplates a total of 550 places available and that all the courses are already active and can be carried out until the end of December.
In this context and in relation to the sales block, the platform allows expanding knowledge in relation to online payment platforms, free tools to attract web traffic, cybersecurity or the use of delivery platforms.
At the same time, businesses have the option of taking a photography course to sell online, create and manage online business profiles, design promotional images and make marketing videos, in addition to learning how to use tools that allow them to improve communication with customers. customers or analyze the traffic they receive.
The duration of each training action ranges between 4 and 10 hours, and each professional can enroll up to a maximum of four courses. Although, once they complete them, you can reapply for places in new formations. The students will be accompanied throughout the development of the training.
