The Cabildo, through the area of Employment and Socioeconomic Development, launches a free public training platform to help small and medium businesses on the island to acquire new skills and knowledge with which to improve their competitiveness and increase sales, through the online market. Under the name of Activation of Tenerife Trade, the new platform, managed by Fifede, includes 18 courses divided into two thematic blocks: visual marketing and digital masterclasses, and modernization and improvement of sales techniques.
As explained by the director of the area, Carmen Luz Baso, “the objective is to help commercial and restaurant establishments, especially those with fewer resources, to update their businesses and adapt them to new consumer demands.”
The training offer includes 550 places and all courses are already active and can be held until the end of December. In relation to the sales block, the resource allows expanding knowledge about online payment, free tools to attract web traffic, cybersecurity or the use of delivery platforms.
At the same time, businesses have the option of taking a photography course to sell online, create and manage online business profiles, design promotional images and do video marketing, in addition to learning how to improve communication with customers or analyze the traffic that they receive.
The training action ranges between four and ten hours, and each professional can enroll up to a maximum of four courses. Once they complete them, you can reapply for places in new formations that will have a tutorial accompaniment.
