This past Saturday, October 8, within the framework of the celebrations of the co-patron saint of the Ntra. Sra. del Rosario municipality, La Matanza de Acentejo recovered one of its sporting events with the greatest impact in recent years, the Cross Matancero Tinguaro, which reached its fourth edition after the last appointment held in 2019.
From the City Council and Conchip Canarias, promoters of the test, they opted to make it a night event, a success given that a new registration record was established with 149 in the queen test and about 100 registered in the children’s categories. One more year the test was included in the official calendar of the Insular Federation of Athletics of Tenerife, being a scoring test in the VI Circuit 5Km Conchip Canarias of races on the Tenerife Route 2022 – Mizuno Trophy.
Ayoze Infante, from CD CorreAyo Spar Tenerife, and Kayla Casaletto from Mercy Ships, became absolute men’s and women’s champions respectively.
