The local committees of Canarian Coalition in the north of the island cheered Tuesday night for Rosa Davila as the nationalist candidate for Council of Tenerife during the first of the meetings that the deputy and secretary of the Organization of CC de Tenerife is going to hold with the different committees of the Island with the aim of presenting her project so that «The Island recovers its leadership».
In this way, the local committees of the municipalities of La Orotava, El Sauzal, Tacoronte, La Victoria, La Matanza, Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos, Santa Úrsula and Tegueste showed their unanimous support for the candidacy of Rosa Dávila so that she become the “first woman to chair the Cabildo de Tenerife”.
Together with the insular general secretary of the Canarian Coalition of Tenerife, Francisco Linares, and the nationalist spokesman in the insular Corporation, Carlos Alonso; Rosa Dávila assured that she is going to the Cabildo “to give Tenerife back her pride with projects that excite people”. Various officials and spokespersons present at the meeting showed their full support for Dávila’s candidacy, such as the mayor of El Sauzal, Mariano Pérez; the spokesman for CC de Tegueste, Juan Norberto Padilla; the nationalist spokeswoman for Puerto de la Cruz, Sandra Rodríguez; the spokesperson for the Tacoronte City Council, Álvaro Dávila, the nationalist candidate for Mayor of La Victoria, Dulce Gutiérrez; and the CC Organization Secretary in La Orotava, David Benítez, among others.
During the meeting, Dávila called for the mobilization of nationalism so that “the Island recovers the leadership lost in these years of PSOE government.” “We need to recover the illusion of an island that is falling behind. We need a strong Tenerife, nationalist and eager to move forward », he stressed. Regarding his candidacy, he thanked all the messages of support he has received, highlighting that “we are a great team and I am proud to be able to lead the candidacy for the first institution in Tenerife.” «Canarian Coalition is stronger than ever and we are going to recover pride and dignity for this land. We have a project that combines economic and social development, the generation of job and the strong and forceful defense of environmental values”, he concluded.
