The mayor of Güímar, Gustavo Pérez, will repeat as a candidate for Canarian Coalition (CC) in the municipal elections to be held on May 28. This was proclaimed by the local assembly, before which the first nationalist alderman called to “continue to focus on the municipality, solving its problems. I don’t believe in big election campaigns and last minute promotional videos, because they take time and effort away from solving those problems. I believe in daily work and that is the most important value of the Coalición Canaria team».
Gustavo Pérez thanked “infinitely” the confidence of his colleagues, made it clear that the debate on the electoral list “has not yet been opened because we have to be focused on the güimareros. The important thing is the team, not individualism or the assigned position », he detailed.
«We have to continue structuring the future of the municipality taking its traditions, commerce, agriculture and nature as references. We are going to be, as we have always been, by the side of our neighbors, to meet their needs and carry out policies that help them improve their quality of life, and more so in these times of economic crisis”, he stressed.
The island secretary general, Francisco Linares, defined the candidate as “a serious, hard-working and responsible person” with government experience, while Rosa Dávila, Secretary of Organization, highlighted the “generosity, work and effort” of the CC team in Güímar .
