The municipality of Santiago del Teide celebrates this weekend, specifically, on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October Ale-Arte Cumnbre de Bolico 2022, VII edition of the Festival of Artistic Expressions Alexia Martel González, which emerged as a “living” tribute to the figure of the deceased resident of the municipality Alexia, as well as to all those people whose legacy has enhanced the popular culture and identity of the municipality.
Thus, this cultural event will begin this Friday, October 14, at 7:15 p.m. with a parade announcing the festival by the Santiago del Teide Fanfare. Then, at the Chinyero Visitor Center, the local theater group “Cherfe” will perform the play entitled “La Venta de Seña María”. At the end it is the turn of the show “Violetas” by the timplista majorero Víctor Estárico and the special voice of Belinda Falcón.
On Saturday, October 15, starting at 09:30 am in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide, arrival of the stage truck L`a Tournee de L’art with activities for the little ones. At 10:00 a.m., performance by Clown Mr. TIE. At 11:30 a.m., comedy theater and, from 1:00 p.m., a performance by the musical group María Al Revés.
The main course of the festival will take place at 9:00 p.m. at the “Chinyero” Visitor Center with a performance by the trio formed by the rapper Arkano, the Cuban points of the talker Yeray Rodríguez acting as mediator Darío López from Palante Producciones.
