Candelaria will invest 1,817,917 euros in improving municipal facilities and infrastructures such as Plaza de Teror, Las Caletillas or Amance and Manuel Sabina Coello streets, among others. The Plenary approved the budget modification file with the only abstention of two Popular Party councillors.

The comprehensive reform of the Plaza de Teror has more than 300,000 euros and aims to improve comfort and safety. For 286,145 euros, the Public Fountain in Las Caletillas will be located between Calle Charco El Musgo and Avenida Marítima, the intersection that will embellish the area.

More than 350,000 euros will be spent on road networks, water supply, supply and rainwater and accessibility of Amance and Manuel Sabina Coello streets.

In response to a demand from citizens, Candelaria will use more than 300,000 euros in the purchase of self-cleaning toilets to be installed on the coast of the municipality. Likewise, the expense was approved to carry out an economic-financial feasibility study to build the covered swimming pool in Punta Larga.

The list of investments includes improvements to the Social Services public service facilities, the Comprehensive Care office for women and minors who are victims of gender-based violence, and the cultural and sports facilities. The item allocated to campaigns and services for the capture and transfer of cats was also increased.
