SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CC-PNC group in the Cabildo de Tenerife considers that the withdrawal of Podemos’ support for the PSOE in the island corporation confirms that the institution is “in crisis”, which harms the entire island.
The nationalist spokesman, Carlos Alonso, points out that “the facts speak for themselves, the Cabildo has never been so bad and the abandonment of Podemos confirms that Pedro Martín is the worst president in the history of the island corporation.”
In his opinion, “the Cabido is the first institution on the island of Tenerife and it is in crisis, and it has been generated by the PSOE, which is governing, that can only be attributed to Pedro Martín and his lack of leadership, it is the worst government in the history of the Cabildo and was supported by a party that does not exist, which is Ciudadanos, and another that is divided, which is Podemos”.
Before, he continues in a note, “it was a weak government and now it is a government in decomposition”, emphasizing that “the worst of all is that this situation of crisis and weakness is going to be paid by all the citizens of Tenerife”.
Alonso also recalls that time “has proved his group right” “because they had no project for Tenerife, except to remove the Canarian Coalition, which was the most voted force, in these three and a half years they have dedicated more time to destroying what previous, such as Ansina, the Cidemat or Tenerife 2030”.
For the nationalist spokesman, “it has been a weak government that now does not even have a majority, the Cabildo is in crisis because of Pedro Martín and what starts badly ends badly.”
Alonso also points out that a few days ago María José Belda, spokesperson for Sí Podemos Canarias, “announced that she was leaving Podemos and offered to lead a left-wing platform, today, Podemos announces that she is withdrawing support from Pedro Martín and the PSOE, but Belda says that she knows nothing and that it is a mistake, it is one more example of what has been happening in the Cabildo in the last three and a half years”.
In that sense, he indicates that “everyone knows that the Cabildo is worse off and the only person responsible is the PSOE and Pedro Martín.”
