The town of Las Manchas will celebrate from October 8 to 12, both inclusive, its traditional festivities in honor of the Virgen del Pilar and Santo Domingo de Guzmán with a varied program of events aimed at the entire local population and visitors.
On October 8, 9 and 10, a triduum will be held in honor of the Virgen del Pilar and Santo Domingo de Guzmán at 5:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively.
On Tuesday, October 11, from 06:00 a.m. flowery reveille by the Santiago del Teide Fanfare. Around 4:00 p.m., ludoparque for children and at 9:00 p.m. Holy Mass officiated by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the La Diata Folkloric Group. Next, a procession along the usual route accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Music Band and a pyrotechnic display. At the end, a great festival with the Arguayo Band and Tropin orchestras.
On Wednesday, October 12, at 12 noon Holy Mass officiated by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the Raíces de Santiago del Teide Association. Then, procession along the usual route. Around 5:00 p.m., a variety festival with performances by the humorist Maestro Florido and the group Achamán. At the end ribs and potatoes for all attendees and a performance by Fernandito El Mayúscula.
