The mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez, accompanied by the councilors of Municipal Housing, Social Action and the Southwest district, Juan José Martínez, Rosario González and Javier Rivero, respectively, met on Tuesday with the winners of the 44 homes in El Tableroin a social rental regime, where the councilor announced the next delivery of the keys to their new properties, which is expected to be before the end of October, “one of the best and most satisfying moments that any public servant can have” , confessed José Manuel Bermúdez.
“The investment made in the 44 homes in El Tablero -explained the mayor- represents more than 3.5 million euros and the construction consists of two blocks of 16 homes each and a third made up of 12” and announced that, “although They are also equipped with a large storage room for each of the families and have parking spaces, their award will be made later”.
Bermúdez clarified that “they are mostly two-bedrooms (35), although there are also five one-bedrooms, two three-bedrooms and another two four-bedrooms, all with a living-dining room, separate kitchen, utility room and bathroom.”
The Councilor for Housing, for his part, also recalled that “this local Corporation has taken a step forward to try to solve the lack of public housing in the municipality” and reviewed the projects on Calle La Monja, in the Southwest, and the 343 dwellings in María Jiménez and Cuevas Blancas.
